What do you do to make it NOT look so transparent??
Is there anything to put behind the grille that'll help??

Also i'm looking for a notch filler.

You can paint the frame and other part behind the grill a flat black.
Or you can place regular bug screen (black) behind the grill.
But do not place anything behind that does not alllow air to pass.

what would i fasten the bug screen too?

Painted mine flat black, highly recommended!

Just paint or use black vinyl adhesive on the top portion of the bumper that is exposed behind the grille. This works well for lighter colored cars....my car is black, therefore I do not have this problem.

Correct! You can attach using whatever method you prefer.
But a good one it either spot epoxy, silicone, or hot glue.

the second picture shows the area that needs to be painted. I can post a pic of my car when I'm home if you'd like, don't have any here at work. Makes a world of difference, you should def. do it.

I wouldn't even paint it.....just get yourself some black vinyl adhesive and cut to fit in that area.....not so permanent you know.

That's up to your discretion on that.
Some have placed it right behind + attached it to the grill.
Others have suspended it a inch or two back; it's really up to you.

you can be ghetto and use electrical tape to color the area, but i hate to spread these types of ideas.
looks fine from far away, but not so much really close up

well, in your opinion, which do you think will look better?

I'd paint it black. Just buy some painters tape at autozone and tap it off, and then spray it...looks good, cheap, fast...

wouldn't the vinyl be better? since it isn't permanent.
