Alright so I Replaced the lifters on my mk1 vw hydraulic head and I put the cam back on and my tdc Mark is not where the dot is on the back of the cam gear used to be. It ran with the cylinder head, the woodruff key is still in tact and it’s the same pulley that was on it. It was set before but now it doesn’t line up so I’ve just made my own mark.
Just one of my issues.

Not to my knowledge, I’m not really sure what happened.I do have a second cylinder head that I may have switched them up with. Either way it runs good properly timed.
