Joey headlight mod on Jetta & Misc. Questions Regarding the Joey mod

Does anyone have any pictures of the Joey mod done on a Jetta? I'm curious as to what parts were painted...
Also, does this mod effect the reflective quality of the headlights? i.e are they dimmer because of this? I'm thinking about doing it, but I am not willing to sacrifice light quality for it. Anyone with this mod done on Jetta or Golf please let me know if they have seen a difference.

I did the mod but I cant get to my pics right now. You paint everything except the part that is recessed into the light. that is thereflective part. It does not change the output at all. do it man it lookds great..
