Junkyard turbo, I got the wrong one I think, help!

Hi all,
They had a half of sale yesterday at the Junkyard, so I bought me a Volvo turbo, dumb me didn't clean off the grease till after I pulled it and instead of saying Air Research on the housing, it says VOLVO and has volvo PN's. damn.
Is this a rebadged T3 or did I get something I dont want? off an 87 Volvo 760 Intercooled, FYI.
Thanks, I can still return it & know where I can gank a couple of different ones. (one of which is a K26 the other one is a t3 for sure.)
take care,
Steve

Yes thats a T3.

That may be a mitsubishi Td05 I have a 1990 765Ti and that's what it has,an easy way to tell is,if the turbine housing has a rounded wastegate housing it's a T3. if it has a integral wastegate housing (one that can't be unbolted from the turbine housing)It's a Td05 mitsu turbo. If that's what you have it's pretty different for what your wanting to do,the turbine housing can't be swapped for the standard t3 like the other volvo's can.

Thats what I have I think
to describe in my words and see if it jibes with what you mean:
the turbine (exhaust/hot) side housing has a welded in plug, behind this plug is what appears to be the wastegate. This wastegate assembly is actuated with a rod that comes from the compressor (intake/cool) side. The rod is attached to a diaphraghm actuator that gets its vacuum/pressure from what appears to be a BOV integrated into the aluminum casting on the cool side.
The turbine housing and wastegate mech are DEFINITELY in one casting though, bummer as this one was quite a deal. (though I am unsure if its good: tight in & out, no play but im obviously not a turbo expert.)
take care,
Steve

Okay,
Im now 110% positive I got the wrong guy, especially since I just noticed this guy is made in Japan.
Check out these pics, and tell me for 100% sure, but my housing looks nothing like the t3 one posted above, so I guess its back to the yard for this one unless someone wants to make me an offer??? (junkyard with a return policy.)

thanks for all your help guys

take care,
Steve
