I'm waiting on my o-ringed VR6 head to be returned to me now.
It sucks how long most machine shops take. Everything is sitting in a pile waiting for the head and assembly.
What thickness did you go with on the copper head gasket. I'm thinking about 0.077" thickness. Both the block and head were milled, about 0.005 each, if that much.
Doing 83.5 mm JE Pistons with 9:1 comression.
P&P BVH all by a local machine shop.

O-ringing creates a better seal around each cylinder. Stainless steel o-ring pushes into the head gasket to ensure that there are no leaks when head is torqued down, a must for FI motors. It eccentually makes it seem as though the head is torqued down tighter at the position of the o-ring between the head and the block.
Thanks for the complements. It's a 2.9L setup with cunningham rods, cross drilled crank, Raceware head and main, stock thickness for the copper gasket (Bill Schimmell can get them for you).
The turbo (for the beginning) is a T04E from turbonetics

The Motec is for sale but if it doesn't sell soon I may run it and sell the TEC2. If you interested it's in most of the classifieds.
