I have a 1995 Jetta GL and I wanted to know if the turn signals right below the headlights could be changed so there was no yellow there. I dont really want to buy any type of lense for it ( have no $$
). Is there any way to make it not have yellow in it without buying anything expensive or just doing it buying nothing? Thanks in advance

Re: Just a question (Jetta9583)

if you have a dremel or some kind of air tool that has a little grinder...
you take off the blinker...and from the back of it going into the inside...you "DREMEL" out the yellow/orange http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Just a question (WRC Dorikin)

as usualy johnny is right on time with the peppy reply and he's exactly right. It's pretty easy. I did it with my stock signals b4 i got my smoked ones. However, make sure you have clear bulbs or it won't make much difference lol. A buddy of mine did it and had yellow coated bulbs lol.....
Re: Just a question (WRC Dorikin)

do you have to take the lense off the front to get access to the rear of the light, or can you just dremel it through the hole on the back of the light lense?
Re: Just a question (Jetta9583)

DO NOT try to take off the front of the lense unless you are willing to go buy another set or deal with the cracks that you will inevitably get when trying to do this. When you pull the light housing out of the bumper, twist the bulb out of the housing, and you should have a big enough hole to get a dremel into to start cutting/grinding out the amber insert. Take your time with it, a friend of mine tried on his and ended up scratching the hell out of the inside of one of his lenses, and actually drilled a hole through the other. Good luck.
