Just done Audi TT shifter mod to my 24v V6 4motion (MQ350 4motion tranny)

Well, the title just about covers it, I bought the Audi TT shift lever for the MQ350 tranny (well, I assume so, that is what is stamped on both levers).
Install was painless, undo the 13mm bolt on top, unclip the cables (no tools needed), yank the old lever off, reverse the procedure with new lever. I also grease the lever where it contacts the nylon/plastic guide piece.
Difference is not huge, shift feel has gone from "quite nice, but slightly too long" to "just right for me".
Total cost was £16.50, with a 2 week wait to get the part from Germany.

Yeah, but you will have real soon now (just a few weeks now isn't it?), it will probably be the same for the 6speed 2WD as you are getting the MQ350 tranny (which is much nicer than the 02A/J series).
Just to follow up, I don't see how but it seems to have "settled in" some more now, and feels even more "right".
I would recommend this as the first mod (if the US models don't already have it).
