Just got a set of Tokico Illuminas, Spring recommendations, and what ever?

What springs do you guys recommend? I was thinking Nuespeed Sofsports and vr6 strut bearings. Anything else I should replace while they are off? Bushings?

THanks

Definitely don't g owith Suspension Techniques springs. I actually snapped one in my old rabbit. Jamex are ok. It's definitely cheap. Bottom line: You get what you paid for. Neuspeed is definitely nice! I'd go H&R. Pay a little more for better quality. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

VR6 Strut bearings, rear poly shock mounts, H&R springs, (race or sport), balance your wheels and get an alignment.
That should be about it...

Post a review of your shocks/springs when you're done hooking it up. I'd be interested on your take, as most opr not to put on Tokico or KYB, but I've read positive reviews on them from other messageboards.

Here's my opinoin - but you may not like it.
Ditch the Tokico's in light of some Koni's. Snatch up some H&R street springs

I agree with the Koni situaiton. Tokico from my experience is to the extreme. Either it's too soft or too hard. Koni has infinite adjustments. But since he has them already mine as well use them...

Double "Ditto" on the ditch the Tokico's. Unless you live on a race course that is, that has no potholes. I had to replace several sets under warranty. It became a PITA!. I currantly have Koni's and give them a http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif . Also the Tokico "Squish" is annoying too.

You see I got a brand new set of illuminas for $100, so ditching them isnt really an option, 5 way adjustables for 100bones. But I will let you know how they work out. So h-r springs seems to be the concensus over the neuspeed. Well I will have to make a choice. Thanks fellas

Hey,
Where'd you get a new set of Illuminas for $100.00? I may want in on that deal if mine falls through.

I got them from a friend who never installed them because he sold his car. Sorry no more left.

They're pretty lousy dampers. Your friend may have gotten the better deal, lol.
