just got hella xenon de kit, how to install (wiring)

basically i can do the job of getting them mounted
but the wiring has me a little confused, basically on
how i would connect it to the euroswitch so they
can power on, when i pull the switch to turn on the fogs/rear fogs.
anyone have detailed explanation on this??
any help would be greatly appreciated.

i got the same kit. should be doing it next week. if you get it hooked up by then, let me know how it goes. or any tips.

Ok....i thought the wiring would be hard but that was the easiest part..Connect the red wire that comes in the harness to the + on the battery. Ground the other three brown wires...i couldnt buy a VW wire repair kit so meanwhile i got the yellow and grey wire spliced into the foglight wire from the headlight harness...(yellow and grey). Until i get the wire kit from vw mine turns on with my fogs. When i get the wire kit im gonna splice one end of the kit and the yellow and grey wire that came with your Xenon wire harness, then run the wire through the firewall and plug it into the NSL slot on the euroswitch harness. thanks Vivagarcia. i'm gonna attempt this next weekend when the gf is out town...

question - do you have a jetta or golf? how hard was it to mount these? did you have to do any modifications, like relocating the horn or anything like that?
DK - sure, we'll hook up when i get them running. you can check out the ecodes too. they kick a$$ man, with the VisionPlus bulbs. Oh yeah, and new wheels...

I have a Jetta GLX...It wasnt too hard no relocating anything only a wire...but the kit comes with a bracket that attaches to a bolt that holds the horn...im not quite sure nothing major though. Only i had to mount the ballasts sideways and not vertical as shown on directions because my bumper was a little different than the model in the instructions, had to drill through the metal...but a good drill and you should be fine...Anymore questions and id be glad to help...just drop me a line or post....

the bracket should be placed in the fender ...

That seems a little susceptible to debris ....mine is safe behind the metal bumper, behind the styrofoam, and behind the outer bumper...Is yours a MIcro DE HID kit?

OK nevermind i see that your ballast is behind the fenderwell but my bracket to hold the ballast was completely different.

sorry, I realise that you guys are talking about the xenon de kit. mine is for the bosch oem xenon headlight.

'will probably pick up a pair soon....need detailed instructions since know little about self-do mods.
