I just got my hid conversion kit with hella ballasts today.
everything look fine, but when i took the bulb for a closer look, i saw the middle part has some yellow dots( it's used), and also it looks like the middle part is broken?, i dunno if it's really broken or if it's the way it looks like with all the HID bulbs
and does anyone know where (any shops?) i can get my HID kits installed?, or is it fairly easy for a DIY. if so any DIY link?, it's H7 kits for mk4

anyways, thanks for the input, but the main problem is..i dunno a thing about HID and when i looked at the bulbs it looked like it's broken or something,,in the middle part of the bulbs.....the middle part with a buble....
wat sup with that?
btw my friend GARYW said he is gonna give me a hand on installing these.hehe.

thanks everyone for the info.
my friend came over and complete the install 3 am in the morning..

took a little bit of time cuz the guy who sold it to me,,,,,he wired everything WRONNNNG......so we re-wired them all over again......

Sounds like you got it up and running???
The yellow stuff in the middle is just a combination of chemicals/salts/etc... and is perfectly normal...(as you probably know now)...
