I didn't see big difference between stock rotors and Brembo Cross Drilled Rotor but they look so sweet. Didn't paint the calipers red.
What do you think?

Honestly, I didn't notice big difference in performance between Brembo and OEM. Perhaps brembo caliper and steel line upgrade would have improved the performance.
That picture above shows stock rim, Montreal II, which is made by BBS for VW. and GoodYear tire size 205/55R16.

Well, considering the stock calipers are single piston ones and Brembos are 4 or 6 pot... I would say that one would realize a more noticeable difference in performance

Rotor swap is easy. Take the money you will save by doing it yourself and buy a Bentley manual.

Rotor swap might be easy on other cars but GTi was bit tricky. Technician had to use three other tools just to get back rotor off. I certainly recommend that you take it to professional place.
I took it to Eastside Performance in Waltham. Guys are all enthusiasts there and the price was reasonable. Message me I will give you the number.
Also good chance to rotate your tires while they are at it.

Calipers & pads and steel braided lines make the car stop faster. Your just less likely to warp your rotors.

Steel lines and good pads will improve the feel to what you're expecting.
Holes and slots only help cool it, so you're 4th-5th quick, hard brake won't fade on ya.
