I'm lucky as hell. It's really an unfortunate accident that led to me getting this car though. My gdad was in a car accident and had brain damamge. Had he been in a car with the curtain airbags, he wouldn't have had anything but a few bruises. So my parents wanted me to have a very safe car. It's just amazing. Driving it at night is the coolest experience ever. Feels like I'm about to blast off into space with the purple control panels and red stero display. Soooooo awesome

Just got back and while I was out I saw a guy staring openmouthed at the beauty that is the passat I just nodded and pointed to the emblem

Congrats with your new wheels. My first car was a '76 Dodge Aspen with the slant 6 engine. A great learning car as I was frequently pounding on it doing donuts and power slides. Not the brightest thing to do, but when I power slided into a guard rail, I wasn't concerned about the car's appearence to begin with. It made me appreciate all the vehicles since.
The Passat is my first brand new car and I've spoiled myself. Afert all the bombs I've owned, I deserve it. My next car is going to be hard to follow. Hopefully VW will have an equally impressive vehicle when I'm ready to purchase my next new car in 2006.
