i think im finally getting the hang of hdr, still looks a little crazy but for a second try at it and first with photomatix its not too bad

the background looks good but it looks like you lost a lot of contrast on the car. try re-tone mapping.

i know... hopefully my dent guy will be able to get it out with out a repaint its right on the crease from the fender. some bastard in my neighborhood backed in to my car and left it. i still want to kill them but i dont know which one it was.

pics look pretty good man. i would download a copy of adobe lightroom ( you can get a 30 day trial off adobe's site) and edit the tonemapped version in there.
thats what i like to do, anyways

I had one in that same spot on my Jetta (for those reading along at home, it's the area known as the "dogleg" on a four-door car). I took it to a local dent specialist, and he was able to drill into the door jamb and work it out. If you find a *very* good dent repair technician, they should be able to remove the interior panel and work with it a bit.
