Driving back from getting some lunch, almost back to work when everyone starts jumping over a lane. WOndering what it is I follow suit and slowly pull through the intersection where it looks like a FORD F-250 (2007 or so) rearended an older GOLF 84 ish. So I slowly pull past to make sure everyone is OK.

No accident the GOLF is actually towing the FORD.

Nice, old Golfs are towing machines! I towed an S-10 for ~30 miles at 70mph in my old 85. The girl whose truck it was was skeptical at first...

I towed a 86 GTI (broken timing belt tensioner) from LaCrosse, WI to Omaha, NE with my 1984 Rabbit convertible. The only thing I noticed was the increased stopping distance. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
