"Keep the plug in the Bug"

On my way in to work this morning I passed a NB with a bumper sticker on it that said " keep the plug in the bug " . Not being a NB owner I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the meaning of this bumper sticker.

Maybe it is referring to the engine block heater?

Since the "loved van" is no longer produced, perhaps its something about a sexual behaviour inaide it!!!

It definitely said, "keep the plug in the bug"

The 2003 NB will come with a revolutionary engine that doesn't need spark plugs and apparently it is already causing an owner backlash.

Any idea how that's going to work? Unless theyr'e just planning on producing a Beetle TDI. In either case, a backlash sounds kind of retarded, but it's not surprising. We all know what kind of people drive Beetles.
