Key gets stuck in the ignition and sometime takes force to start: 2002 Passat

I've had this baby for 5 days and then this happens. Any ideas?

The steering-wheel lock is engaging, probably because you turned the wheel after removing the key. Just turn the wheel a little and the key should turn easily, then try not to use the steering wheek as a grab handle when you get out of the car
