I just finished install the Keyless entry for my 96 golf using the DIY by the infamous Dan. The remote ofcourse is extremely week in range. i was wondering where i could get some good programmable remotes for my v-dub. Can anyone help me please!!!!!

If you got the same keyless kit as me, I get 30'/40' or so.. I ran the ant. wire up into the A pillar..

I got the same one as you. Thanks for the DIY by way! So where exactly is the A pillar and how far is the range on that. Also, for future references Can i actually just buy programmable remotes for the keyless entry I installed?

The A pillar is the front windscreen pillar.

If you have the Clarion / banjo style one, there is a way to extend the range.
Try the FAQ, I think it was posted there.
