Well as the title says I hear a knock/klunk noise while I m backing up and turning the steering wheel to the left. (It is just one knock/klunk) Just wondering if anyone here has had the same problem or has an idea as to what it could be. I m taking it to the dealer on monday. Thanx for the help.

i had this problem. got new strut bearings and bushings

i had the same problem. replaced subframe bolts with new ones. problem fixed

first thing i would do would be to make sure you didnt run over any midgets

lol didnt run over any midgets....this would b covered under warrenty correct. its a 2k4 jetta with 30k on it?

turns out it was the strut mount and bearings on the left side. kinda odd for a car with 30k. I guess it doesent help if I autocross with it either does it. LMAO. Thanx for the help guys.
