Is it possible for a shop to work the k04 in order to get better flow and horsepower? How much would something like that cost?

I don't know first hand but this doesn't sound possibly. Even if so it would be cost effective. The biggest way to increase power is change to a new turbo with a larger compressor/turbine wheel.
