Hey everybody, I just got a set of Koni Sports and will want to install them this weekend with my Eirbach springs. I would appreciate any info regarding any particular setting or comments on such an install. I have all the tools but would like to know any info on extra parts needed, re-using some of the parts, etc? I also heard and read that it would be good to replace strut bearing and the all the bolts as stated in the assembly manual. THanks to all.......What strut/shock setting to you guys recoment for the Koni and Eirbach combination.

Re: KONI install tips needed!! (Cymeryss)

When I recently did my A3 I followed the instructions for the most part but "Peanut" had done it before so we had no major problems. I replaced my front strut bearings as a preventative measure. The old ones may have been ok but as I was there I was there. I also installed a set of H&R sport springs. In the winter time I run the Konis full soft but otherwise the rears are almost full stiff and the fronts are about half way. Good luck
