Anyone have pics. of this wheel on a MK4 Jetta? Or seen them? How do they look? Also, would 17x7 with offset of 40 fit ok on my Jetta VR6 with 30mm drop? Also, what finish goes better with Blue Lagoon? Silver or Black Opal?
Thanks.
here is a pic. of the wheel

Yep, that offset should work, but if the wheel gets too close to the brakes then all you need is some spacers from H&R. I contemplated getting these wheels too.. except in 18's. The 18's are 18x8 (or 18x8.5, don't remember exactly) but the extra inch in width and diameter would rock!

I was looking into these when the 1st came out. I think they only come in 18-7 or 18-7.5. Thats what kept me away. Unless they have started making these in 18/8 recently. This was also before I was aware of spacers. Had I known about them I would have gotten them. I happy with my 19's so its all good. Beautiful wheel go buy them....

17's comes in et40, while 18's come in et35. Does anyone know for sure if i will have problems with et40 on a MK4 VR6?
Thanks for the replies.

When I spoke to Konig they said that the 18x8.5's dont come in 5-100 or for the smaller wheel patterns, just for cars like camaro's and stangs..... Like I said this was 5 months ago. Hopefully they have changed and do make it now. Just be sure... See if someone can photoshop for you....

Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (sniper27)

You'll need spacers to look right/clear the brakes.
Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (Jman5000)

5mm spacers, i assume? Thanks.
Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (sniper27)

damn .. 5mm spacers dont come with the hubcentric deal right?
Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (1BadAzzVR6)

i don't know. not familiar with all the spacers concept. so what do i need to do to make these wheels fit? or will they just fit? i hear that they do, and some say they won't. errr...
and which color? silver or black opal? not sure how the black opal looks in real life for BLue Lagoon.
Rich - you still looking for the Rhythms? BTW, did you get your tails yet?

Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (sniper27)

Yeah they will fit. The 18x7's or 7.5's Just get the spacers and call it the day....
Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (Sg4227)

i think on your car, since its somewhat dark already, go with Silver.
I plan to go with the Opals .. but i kinda been lookin into 18x8 instead of the 7.5s, so ive been lookin @ some other rims. They are a great deal .. the other rims i was looking at are @ http://www.edgeracing.com.
and no Rapid still hasnt sent the lights to me yet. This monday they will have it in, hopefully i get them by Friday next week.
Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (sniper27)

More like 15's w/the centering ring.
5's will still leave you enough hub for hubcentricity.
I'd get long lugs, 4x5, 2x8, and 4x15 to test....from a place w/a cool return policy.
Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (1BadAzzVR6)

which wheels at Edgeracing are you looking at?
Yeah, I think I'll go with silver.
Dude, your lights should have been shipped already. Mike told me he was going to get them out last week when I asked about your lights. You got the smoked ones right?
Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (Jman5000)

15mm spacers?? wow, so if the right offset is 35, and I get 40, i need to push the out 15mm?
Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (sniper27)

im sure u already know sniper tehehe ..

o and about the lights, something up with my bank .. they couldnt get my CC to go through .. but its all cool .. i talked to Mike .. it will be for sure out this Monday.

That's cool. I'm getting my lights on Tuesday

Re: Konig Imagines on MK4 Jetta? (sniper27)

the more and more i keep lookin @ these beauties .. the more and more i lean towards them. and for $303 a wheel .. thats freakin cheap. considering the fact that it is a 18x8.5. Sahweeetah
