Konig Tantrum vs. OZ Superleggera

I am debating on what wheel to get. If I get the Tantrums I will have enough money left to geta H&R Cupkit. But if I get the Oz Superleggera I will not be able to afford the Cupkit this summer. What should I do.

Add another choice:
Get coil-overs now, drop car to the ground on stockies, w/ a euro lip, and wait until summer to get wheels... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Buy the OZs...IMO Konig wheels are POS... OZ makes one of the finest wheels out there, can't go wrong with em. Could always buy some sport spring for like 100 or so to make it look nicer.

Spend the money on your suspension first. Then save up for the OZ's. It never pays off in the long run to buy cheap parts.

Yeah, with the money buy H&R coilovers, not the cup kit but the full super low coilovers. Then when you have enough money buy the superleggra's. It's better to do it right the first time, the way you want it. This way it only hurts once, instead of multiple times. I guarantee if you originally wanted the OZ's and looked at the konigs as a cheaper alternative, you will start to notice the things that make them knock-offs, and you won't be happy. Do a nice set of coil-overs and put rims on next year.

true. Get some h&r coilovers and run the stock wheels...maybe you'll get a raise or something and will be able to get the OZs sooner then you think

Get the suspension first, I've been riding on stockies forever now. hehehehehe
Wheels cost money, and the ones I want cost a lot so I never got any. Just need to lay off the coffee and sweets and maybe I'll have enough money for some nice wheels.

couldnt have said it better
My trucky jetta that looked much like Peteys rides soo nice compared to my friends with 17s. Of course.. his handles a tad bit better

Slammer first with an euro lip and call it a day

Coils or sups first. Your car will be faster overall, I swear.

If you buy OZs now, you'll drive around looking like a 4X4. (That's just not acceptable)
Do what JettaMkIII said, get coilovers, slam it and wait for the wheels. A dropped car on stockies looks 10 times better than a car with 17s and no drop!
