kr engine

what years and models came with the kr engine? and how much should i expect to pay for a used one? (complete)
any one have a dyno of a stock engine (or close to it)post if ya got it thanks

According to Euro version of Etka, KR engine was used in Golf's between '86-'92.

KR is the european spec 1.8 16v that used CIS basic injection. 139 hp. It was used in the Mk2 chassis. You can convert the PL to the KR by using the Euro intake cam and intake manifold with more octane.

US spec 1.8 16v's with CIS-E injection

...along with the special "catless" downpipe. Cars with the KR engine were "catless".

In 90 they were. GLIs were 1.8 (PL) 87-89.
