I have a 92 GTI, and purchased a non-hydraulic rear motor mount and bracket to eliminate the stock hydraulic unit.
When I attempted to attach the L-shaped bracket that extends from and connects the motor the the motor mount, the bolts didnt line up at all, and they werent even close. The L-shaped bracket was much too long.
Do I need to change this bracket when I change between mounts?
Alternatively, are there any differences in this bracket between years, or perhaps between automatic and manual transmission vehicles?
If anyone could help me with this, or verify with ETKA I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

That bracket is the same.

Do you have any recommendations as to why I am having problems lining up the rear mount?
