ok so my 01 vr6 gti..the clutch is engageing late like the last inch. of the clutch? it does not slip but its annoying to have to go so far up for a full engage.

mine was like that for a bit until I got a new clutch. If it's not slipping I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Mine grabs pretty high too. I just kinda got used to it. The only thing that really bugs me is that my clutch is really soft. Its like stepping on a pillow.
