I work with this guy. You can see them great when they are illuminated. He had this on his Passat before and it looks INCREDIBLE in person....

don't like anything i'm seeing there...
tails are too dark, rims look too bling, and the OEM spoiler makes the car look "girly"...

Did you just paint over the outside or did you take the lens apart and paint the inside?
Any chance getting a picture of the lights when lit, How much light comes through?
Night picture?

I painted from outside.I see what can I do Night pictures but trust me I had this mod on my passat so it is brighter than normal without paint.
Once I got stopped 2 yrs ago by cop in the day time.He couldn't give me ticket when it saw them illuminated.
Also state inspection book says; as long as if you stand 2 feet behind the car and direct flashlight to the tail lights and it reflects, it passes the inspection.
