lately I have noticed that after I let the car sit overnight and I go to start it, it smells like gas and runs rough. Once the car runs for a bit, it gets better. Right now the car is sluggish from a stop and idles rough (well more than normal with the cam I have in there now). Could part of it be because of the injectors/injector rail or the MAF being fubar'd? I cleaned the MAF and it felt better for a bit, but then i think someone had dropped it the second time i cleaned it and the car started to act up after that......

sounds like your o-rings on your injectors are failing.
get them replaced with new injectors

sounds like a plan....how much do the injectors normally run? also, how often do the fuel pressure regulators usually last?
