I'd would like to say thanks to Dana and others in the VCDS section for their help making this install possible.

Since your car might have a different Central Electronic Module than mine, I would verify if and what coding you will need. I will include my module for reference. If others want you include their modules, I will add it to this thread.
On with the show. First lets install the lights.
Lift the hatch. There are access panels where the red circles are that need to be opened.
Once opened, you will need disconnect the plug in the green box and then use the 8mm socket or wrench to remove the nuts in the red circles.
After that, the light will pop out.
Take the new Inner LED tail light and secure it to the hatch with the same two 8mm nuts.
Using the LED Adapters
Plug the connector that was plugged into light where the green box was and plug it into one end of the LED Adapter. Then plug the other end of the LED Adapter to the LED light. It should look like this once completed.
Place the access panel back on and repeat for the other side.
To remove the outer tail lights, you will first have to pull away some of the carpet. Once you have room, disconnect the plug in the green box and manually (by hand) turn the white screw in the red circle counter-clockwise to remove the screw.
The outer light will slide out. Please take note of the guides in the red circle that are used to align the lights.
Once the new LED light is installed, hand tighten the white screw. Then plug the connector that was plugged into light where the green box was and plug it into one end of the LED Adapter. Then plug the other end of the LED Adapter to the LED light. It should look like this once completed.
Put back the carpet and repeat for the other side.
Once you are are done. I should look like this.
If you have a newer Cent. Elect. Module and using a kit without a reverse lights, you are done. If you have an older module, then you will need the coding box from TMT or use VCDS to change Byte 18.
An examples of the newer Cent. Elect. Module like mine:

If you have a Rear Fog Kit, continue on.
First you will have to remove and replace the stock switch with a euro switch. There are other DIYs that will show you how like Joe's DIY Thread
Disconnect the connector at the back of the switch and locate the empty Pin 7 slot. After you find where Pin 7 slot is, take your VW repair wire and insert one end into it.
Then take the other end and fish it to near the footwell lighting is. (Hint: It was easier to do when you remove the fuse panel access cover)
Next you will need to use the T20 hex tool to remove the bolt that hold the OBD2 port and the foot well lighting.
The unit will slide out. Place it to the side and out of your way.
Now the hard part.
If you look where the OBD2 port unit was, you will see 3 large connectors.
You will be dealing with the black and brown connector.
Using the little white handle, slide the white handle back to release the black connector.
Once the black connector is disconnected, the outer shell needs to be removed to access the wires within it. There are two clips that hold the shell on. One of them is marked by the red circle. the other in on the opposite side.
With the shell off you will need the slide the connector apart and find the empty Pin 17 slot. Once you find it, insert the other end of the repair wire into it. Then you will need to find Pin 28 slot. Pin 28 is the wire that connects to the Drivers Side Reverse Light. Since the Rear Fog replaces the Drivers Side Reverse Light, you will use this wire to power the Rear Fog. On my car the wire was gray with a white stripe. Use the VW style wire terminal removal tool to remove the wire that is in Pin 28 slot. I do not have this tool, so I used 2 sewing needles. I stuck one in each of the pin release holes and the wire slid out. Do not force it out or it might break. Make sure to give the wire some slack.
Slide the to halves of the black connector together again and slide the unit into the black shell. Reattached the black connector and slide the white handle forward.
Repeat the same process to remove the brown connector and locate Pin 47 Slot. When you find it, there will be a blue with green stripe wire inserted into it. You will need to remove that wire and tape it up. It will not be used anymore. Now insert the gray with white stripe wire into to Pin 47 Slot. The image below shows the blue with green stripe wire in the red circle, and the 2 sewing needles used to remove the wire in the green box.
Reassemble the brown connector and reattach it. Reinstall the the OBD2 unit with the T20 bolt. If your car has the newer Cent. Elect. Module like mine, you are done. If it doesn't you will have to visit the MKVI VCDS thread for assistance. Thread
