Lets talk spacers, Hub Centric VS. Non-Hub Centric

Installed non hubcentric spacers (8mm - not going to say brand, but reputable company), coils, and changed wheels within a few days of each other... Once getting on the highway I realized I had a pretty bad bounce coming from the rear axle area.

Checked the coils, springs, mounts, axle, rear control arms, re balanced wheels, alignment, changed tires... Nothing cured the bounce.

Test fit new wheels the other day and had to remove the spacers, bounce was gone. Put my wheels back on without the spacers, bounce is cured.

Is there something I'm missing in 'spacer theory'?

Would Hub Centric spacers give the same 'bounce' feeling? Or did I just have a sh*tty set of spacers installed?

Thanks!

Hubcentric, does what it sounds like, it is centered by the hub rather than the lugs so a hubcentric spacer should get rid of the bounce.
Non-hubcentric is called lugcentric, and thats where the tapered lug head centers the wheel. So a spacer could be slightly off behind the wheel, and if thats the only thing you are changing and it fixes it, I would say thats the problem.
