Lightened flywheel for a Jetta VR6

I have a 97 Jetta vr6. I just bought a new clutch, it is not installed yet. Before I install this clutch, I would like to get my flywheel lightened. How do I get my flywheel lightend? Is it worth getting it lightened, will I get a better feel?? Do any of you guys with VR6's have a lightened flywheel?
Caan you guys help me out?
