I got a set of UNORTHODOX pulleys, I was gonna thro them on today

Does the moto have to be at TDC to change the Crank pulley???? the new pulley came with a mark on it, for TDC...
Also do I need an Impact gun to get the center nut off the crank pulley???
thanx....

Its better to have it at TDC, and no you dont need an impact gun but it would save you some time. If you are doing all the lightened pulleys you will need shorter belts(see the instructions). But other than that its a real fast job. Good luck.

It will only bolt on one way, the correct way. Just make sure everything is TDC before you start the car. I mean everything, crank, cams, and flywheel. Crank it once by hand and check again and then your done.

Do not take off the center crank bolt!! Just take off the 4 hex bolts that hold the v-belt pulleys. Setting to tdc is not needed, since you are not removing the timing belt nor gear.
