Re: Lighting forum is no help (JPawn1)

You probably are looking for e36 projectors for a Jetta front Right? "cause e30 front lights are sealed beam circles (not enclosed in the plastic lense) They are the years of 84-91 or 92 for convertable. E36 is 92 - 97 I believe. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Lighting forum is no help (JuiceJetta)

Yeah, umm right. I was being an ass. I said no THANKS. Besides, not that post count reallyy matters or anything, but don't you think that someone who has been here long enough to post 1000 times would have already known about the Hella dual rounds? I mean seriously, think before you post. I asked about BMW E30 rounds and nothing else. But, thanks for the heads up on the Hella's

Re: Lighting forum is no help (CNY_VDUB)

thanks CNY, actually I am looking for the E30 ones, since I won't be using the whole housing of the E36 model lights anyway. I figure it would be less expensive to get the E30 lights. Also the E36 lights are just about the same thing as the E30 lights, only the E36's have the clear lense out front of the rounds. Hope that clears up what I mean.

They are not all the same...some are regular housings (DOT) and others have the projector....

You may also want to check out the inpro line...they make replacement lamps and housings, often cheaper then the parts thatcome in a Hella box...also, I would go surf http://www.dtmpower.net. I usually see some assorted lights in their classifieds as people switch, crash or upgrade....
