Hi guys... I got smoked hella mk3 foglights, but did not get the projectors w/ them.. they are the euro spec lights... I am trying to put my us spec projectors into them..but the adj. screw goes on a different side..almost as if i have to take the right projector, and put it in my left euro fog housing, upside down for the holes to line up...anyone know what i can do? do i need euro projector? if so, any one have them? or where can i get them?

The Euro vs N/A housing as ass-backwards.
It almost appears that if you flip them over that they will fit on the opposing housing. I bought the Yellow fog lenses and then realized it was going to be a big project to finish. I still have them sitting in my garage.
You have to do quite a bit of mod's to the bumper (at least the bumper) to get these euro sets to bolt up properly.
IMO not worth it!!! I spent 100bucks on my yellow lenses only to find out that I wasted it!
But as far as how to do it? I dunno. But I've read up on it quite a few times only to find out that it was too much work for me. Honestly, I forgot what it was that you have to do.
But they are NOT interchangeable.

Nater : you can do this to you car which takes considerable time: Dual Round's with E46 BMW Xenon projectors/4100K HID
but you cant spend about an hours worth of time to trim a bit out of the bumper and install the french fogs??!?! Its not that bad, trust me ive done it a few times

Good point. But not only do I not have the entire french fog unit but I've got only the lenses. So, I've got to get the old lenses off first. And I had a bit of trouble with that as well.
So, you are telling me that you installed the french fogs and everything is STOCK.
You lamps are in there tight with no vibrating or anything????
I've heard stories of people ruining their front bumper doing this.
And it's easier for me to ruin a set of lights than a bumper. Much easier to replace.
But if you can post a step by step that would be great.
Including how to remove the existing lens.
