the company is "Centerline" they make mostly wheels for 4x4 pickups and hot rods and have entered the market making light weight forged wheels, right now i thik they only have 2 styles but more are to come very soon

I just did a search and it looks like the 'Orbital 2000' series is what we'd be interested in. McKenzie's in CA(http://www.mckenzies.com/page83.html) says they have some fitments for VW's, but I couldn't figure out what bolt patterns. I guess I should give them a call.
I do really like the 451 and 464 styles.
If they're really $200 and 13lbs for 17", then I may be forced to buy them.

the new ultralight wheels arent on their web page yet. i don't think they are on anyones web page. they haven't shipped any out that i know of. but will be shipping in about 2 - 2 1/2 weeks, then the wheels for my mk4 will be here.

I guess I got myself a little too excited. Give us some more details when they come out, or IM me. I have a Passat, so I'd need 5x112, but the same offset and sizing.
