I have to agree, I would rather have the C as well. At the end of the day, it's still a golf, although a rather nice one at that.

What the hell kind of enthusiasts are you? The ones who would even think of trading their C for a Golf. That's madness! I don't care how you dress it up, it's still a boxy looking thing that doesn't even approach the good looks of the 'raddo. Add in its ubiquity and I just don't get how a comparison can even be made. I guess it's newer and it won't break down as much. Big deal.

A1, A2, A3, and A4 Gti's are all bad a$$, however i'll stick with my Corrado. i never bash othe dubbs though, as it is more impressive to leave a Camaro SS eating your dust in a Golf then it is in a Corrado simply because its not a sports car...but i have seen some awesome Gti's.....oh for any of you guys that like A1's, take a look at the body lines of an 84' GTi and the compare then to a Corrado, side profile, rear 3/4 view, and there is a strong resemblence, more so then with a A2 Gti and an A1.. i kinda think of the A1 Gti as the first Corrado, and the scirroco as the 2nd...thats my opinion!
