This is a great post! Hopfully it can stay updated, as it will be a valuable tool.
One interesting note about about TSB 23-05-03:
It speaks about what the service tech should do when encountering a "tuned" ECU. This includes having the owner fill out a form stating whether or not the car has been tuned and if so, what has been done. This is followed by a declaration allowing the dealer to flash the ECU, permanently erasing the tuning program and stating that all related warranties can be void.
Interesting....

Is there a subtle way to ask a dealer to check and see if any of those TSB's affect one's car or not?

why subtle? These TSB are open to the public. bring the list in and tell the dealer you want to talk about each one. Go thur each one and see if effects your VIN.

Re: (Pooz)

Just a little note. Dealers in my area where more then happy to provide copies of current recalls and TSBs. The list I posted above is just that, a list of current TSB as listed on the VW site put into a nice easy to follow way. I do not own or run a site that hosts the actual TSB, contact your dealer for the TSB. You can e-mail me if you have any questions.

Re: List of the TSBs on the New jetta (Firedogut)

Hi,
Did any of you have any issues at the dealership? I just got an '06 jetta and have experienced at least one of those issues (the rattle in the door from the radio). This car is a huge improvement over the MKIV in a lot of ways. Only one downfall, the radio isn't all that: The 2000 model year half height monsoon stereo with the amp in the trunk was awesome.
Just my 2 cents... Any insights on the dealers would be great..
Thanks,
Clark

Re: (OGSN0)

What were they doing about the ECU's tuned? Wonder if that includes APR's software? Susposed to be undetectable by the dealer? Encripted?
