Just thought I'd share this man who is living out all of our dreams (maybe not the specific cars, but who wouldn't want a garage this awesome?):

Rallye Golf DTM, bare shell rebuild:

R32 Corrado:

Twin 24v VR6 Lupo:

EVO 9 swapped into 1961 Mercedes:

(I thought TCL would especially like this one)

The Lupo is finished but the others are ongoing. Who wouldn't want to have so many fun projects going at once?

Is he planning on grafting the Mercedes body onto the Evo 9's chassis? Without reading the text, that seems to be what's going on - otherwise why save the Evo, then cut its roof off, and why cut the entire floor out of the Mercedes?

That is nuts, truly nuts.

me.

truthfully. i would rather only have one project to focus on. i currently have multiple car and house projects working and the reality is that really none of them are progressing anywhere near as fast as they would if i only had one thing on my plate.

I thought the same thing. At least it won't be as floppy as a 1961 Mercedes :D

In the real world. this is true. This guy seems to have some gift in his life that allows him to focus an inordinate amount of time on projects like this. THAT is the dream, I think.

most all of us live in the world though.

so the 'dream' is retirement?:p
Retirement with a life devoted to cars or jjust simply a life devoted to cars.

Basically it all boils down to devotion. Are you devoted to your dreams, to the life you're meant to live, or to what others want from you... ? (This is a hypothetical question)
