Lock Question on 92 Jetta

Whats up folks, have a question for you. My second vehicle is a trusty 92 Jetta GL w/207K miles that looks and runs like new. Except for the trunk lock. The key goes in, but the cylinder does not turn. The lever pushes in, but the lock will not turn. Anyone have any ideas as to how I can get into the trunk without drilling the lock? I've tried mini-screw drivers, WD-40, removing the plastic trim panels, nothing worked.
