I'm replacing my headunit with a PC. I'm going to run the soundcard output to the monsoon. I know there's issues with the getting the monsoon to turn on and all that, and I know how to solve it, I would just rather not tap into the wires running from the headunit to the monsoon, I would rather just use a new plug and wire it to my soundcard.

Thanks for the reply Christian. I looked at your page and I can't tell which one I need from the pictures. I did a little more searching and now I'm sure I need the grey connector that plugs into the monsoon (it's the one you tap into to when followning the "monsoon with aftermarket sub" thread.) It provides the input from the HU to the monsoon.
I'll also need whatever connectors/pins go on the end of the wires inside that connector.

I need a connector that plugs into the harness that normall plugs into the back of the double din monsoon stereo so I can use those wires instead of cutting off my harness and having really short wires. Also then if I wanna through my stock HU back in it will just plug and play. Thanks

71-9003 is the part you need. I'm sorry I have 3 pages of watched topics and it gets hard to keep track of them sometimes.

No problem, I'm sure you're busy.
I'm pretty sure 71-9003 isn't the part I need, it plugs into the back of the head unit. I am looking for the grey connector that plugs into the Monsoon amp in the rear hatch of the Golf.
