Granny drivers. You guys need to hit the redline more often.
That picture of the Accord tachnometer is beautiful.

Re: Looking for rev counter pics (PineappleMonkey)

nope, actually the beemer IS warmed up.
I had an e46 and that's RIGHT where the needle sits once it's fully warmed up. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
It just SITS in the middle, like any GOOD gauge should.
Reason: quick glance, every needle at 12 o'clock that isn't speedo/tach.
I have ALWAYS tilted my gauges so once they're at proper operating temp/pressure that points *straight* up and down, makes it VERY easy to read them at a glance. I will *never* understand why people who put droves of gauges in their cars fail to angle them.
Visually it looks better when they're not, but who cares when you have a motor on the line, or your cliping the apex of turn 2 and your oil pressure gauge is about to peg

Just my .02 having spent way too many hours at tracks of various sorts.
edit: hahaha it edited my post for me because I used a word to describe their angle that could be taken offensivly. ahh good ol filters.
