Hey what's up guys n gals looking for deep dish/ three piece wheels that fit my 08 R proper.
I'm looking at rims with this spec 18x8.5 +35 Front | 18x10 +30 Rear | I'm planning on lowering
My car with hpa's shs coilovers and I have absolutely no idea about wheel offsets or et or how these
Calculations make sense so any help would be greatly appreciated on determining the proper specs....
I tried googling but end up nowhere sorry if this is posted somewhere else I just can't find it thanx again....

Read up and learn all you can about wheels, the different measurements used, how they affect fit, and what fits this car.

The wheels you are talking about will basically NOT fit once lowered without some modifications to the wheel wells; you will be poking, and will require stretched tires to avoid major rubbing.

You can start here: http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59761

And also these:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=95

and above all search... There are literally dozens of threads in this forum alone about what fits.

I have the standard bigger brakes that come on an r32
I'm not aware of 18's that *don't* fit stock brakes if all the other numbers are correct, but I'm mostly shopping at tirerack.com, and they're pretty conservative.

It's the 17 inch wheel crowd that has to "measure twice, cut once" with stock brakes.
