Looking for someone with VAGCOM in the East Bay

Hello,
I’m located in Lafayette and work in Oakland. I’m trying to diagnose a problem with my MK1 Audi TT. If anyone around here has VAGCOM I would greatly appreciate your help. I’ve been into these cars for years but never really needed VAGCOM until I got this 1.8t TT
Hopefully you like beer because I will pay you in beer for helping me :)

thanks for the info but I don’t have a Facebook account anymore.
Does the TT run? I'll be in Berkeley Saturday and Sunday, PM to arrange.
I have vagcom and am in the eastbay frequently.
@dubtometry did you ever get any further with troubleshooting?
@thegave Hi - I have a Kessy key for my 2011 GTI that may need reprogramming. It was my primary key and went through the wash, but did not appear to have any damage to the chip...i opened it and cleaned it / dried it and replaced the battery. The light works fine but standard resync method detailed in manual won't work. Is this something that VAG-COM can do? I live in SF and willing to come and pay or bring gifts ;)
No VCDS can't reprogram keys, that has to go to the dealer.
Oh actually... Hm
Immobilizer III Key Matching (Kessy) - Ross-Tech Wiki

Not sure if it will work with previously coded keys. Also I'm not sure when I will have time to meet up for something like this, it might not be until Thanksgiving week.
thegave is correct. I couldn't code my 2004 with VCDS either it's the newer immobilizer. off to the dealer you go!
