So just did a 1.8t swap.

Car gets fuel through injectors, coilpacks are firing, fuel pump priming, immo defeated ecu, CEL is on and car will start and shut right off.

I checked all grounds, 12V at coils, 12V at ecu, 12v at all the major areas. No codes from vag Com except o2 code for it being deleted. Rpms reading at crank in vag.

CEL dissappears while cranking.
I'm assuming this means the ecu is losing power/ground?

Major brown/red wire has a good constant ground.

Been chasing this for about a week, and just overly frustrated and lost with it. Anyonr can throw some ideas, that would be great.

What engine was in the car previously? Where did you get the immo defeated? What all did you swap over?

It's the same motor and swap that was in the car,ecu and all. Even tried the ecu in my other car and it started right over.
