I've been thinking of ditching the stock GLX wing for a while.
To people that have done this, do you think it would be easier to just swap trunks/lights etc. with another white jetta if I can find someone interested, or is better to keep the original trunk and have a body shop take care of the holes?

You can fill them and not have them be seen. If the right person does it http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Cool... I was even thinking of shaving the rear emblem while I was at it. I think I'll start with just taking off the left and right badges first and see where I wanna go from there.

I had the GLX spoiler and embelm shaved in September then the entire lid sprayed. It came out perfect....the holes need to be filled with metal not just covered with Bondo. I chose a little hod rod shop by me since I knew they are good metal workers. Gave the rear an entirely different look....

No thanks, I like my inner lights and plate tub. If I shaved the whole thing, I'm afriad I might be compelled in some way to add some giant graphics and big chrome wheels.
