LOUD EXHAUST!!!!!!!!
Okay, i have a 87 8v, and i have 2.5" exhaust straight piped all the way back to a neuspeed muffler..and poo, its real fudgin loud...i love it, and cops do to, so they can give me a ticket...i was wondering if anyone knew if it would work if i put a Y Pipe connecter on my system, one running the straight route, and the other running to about a 1" pipe leading out the back, you think this would muffle the noise any? the muffler was rated at 118 decibles...i love it!!!

best way to fix a loud exhaust is to get some steel wool and wrap it with some wire mesh, you can get some off of a window screen. put it in your exhaust, and take some extra mesh and put it across your tip and tape it there with some duct tape so the steel wool doesn't fly out.
