Lower, body kit, or both

i just bought a 2002 gti 1.8LT im thinking about lowering it but ive heard that when you lower your car it blows in winter. will i get the same look if i just through a body kit on it? what are you opinions on lowered cars in winter?

lower it. get coilovers so you can crank them up in the winter time.

no it will not have the same look if you just put a body kit on it...
most of us on the tex are oem+ dude, and just slam w/e we have on coils
to eliminate the dreaded WHEELGAP toss the car back on stock suspension for the winter.... that what most of the people on here do.

if you get any "kit" just get the lip kit.. OEM ones plz.

theres plenty of coilover systems that allow you to adjust the height of the car, so when the weathers nice you can go as low as you want, but when the weather sucks you can go right back up to stock height http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif the most important thing is to always research before you buy!!!!

1st thing that came to mind lol but yea if u get a body kit i will tell the moderators to ban you
if you are thinking about a new body look go with votex or get valences and skirts
