Stock shank on our lug bolts is 28mm correct?
I bought new wheels and will have spacers on the rear so I need to get some conical bolts. My question is, can I get away with running 31mm shank in the front (no spacer), and the rear would be 45mm shank (15mm spacers). This is what ezaccessory has instock, and I've yet to find any other places with bolts unless I wanna get raped at parts4vw at the cost of $3 a bolt.
Ideally I would have 28mm in the front, and 43 mm in the rear. ECS doesn't even sell 28mm conical bolts. Already called tirerack, they don't have longer bolts.

well i just got two sets of lugs from ecs. conical for my OZ's
stock length bolts are 14x1.5x28. so for the 8mm front you need 14x1.5x36. and for the 15mm rear you need 14x1.5x43
this is for my spacers. 8mm frt and 15mm rear.
so i got 35mm and 43mm i should be ok as long as your not really short
being off a mm isnt a bad thing.
i not 100% sure.. but i will know in a few weeks if my math was good enough.

I'm not running 8mm in the front, just a 15mm in back And I'd be 3mm long in front, not short. Your math is correct, all you do is add the spacer thickness to the shank length.
