I will most likely be ordering the intake too.. Still trying to find the best (cheapest) source ;)

What about DevilTuning headlights?
I gave him the link to create an advertiser account on the vortex.. :-/ Still waiting to hear his "adjusted" shipping rate... Although I do love those headlights, I still have quite a few unanswered questions, and right now my goals are performance orientated vs aesthetics. So, I am in no rush.

i am not trying to sell you anything, but i have a modshack intake and it is AMAZING. it is also cheap compared to other models.

i am k04 as well, if that helps at all.

here is a thread breaking down some info on it vs some other intakes.

Got some di-noc in and went to town today...

These edges were a bitch.. Placed in oven at 220 for a few minutes and worked with the material..rinse and repeat.

Overall very happy with the outcome.. Now, I don't have to worry about annoying scratches on those pieces of trim :)

Very impressive build thread so far.

I've been contemplating switching to the AWE CCB for some time now. I just love how it looks in the engine bay. Plus, I have a GIAC tune so it should match very well with it since it was developed for it. I'm just wary of having MAF relocation.

I like the carbon trim on the interior. Minus around the headunit. Kinda overloads it imo. But still good job. Keep proving me wrong!!!! haha

MAF relocation wasn't really that big of a deal.. Simply pulled the clip off the firewall to extend a few inches.. ;) Intake is awesome btw.

Thanks, I thought it was going to be too much too.. I guess you have to see it in person to really get a feel for it.. Doesn't overload it much at all and gets all the compliments... I will have to take some better photo's when it gets warm out.

The CCB has been installed for 8 days and I am already experiencing fading in the carbon fiber air box... I will be calling them on Monday to see what they can do/recommend.

In other news got the ECU flashed to Unitronic Stage 2...

Feels really good and peaks at 20psi... Had a few misfires early after taking her out on the road... They seem to disappear after a hundred miles. One CEL and DSG neutral shift from a first gear pull. I'm thinking that will go away after the DSG Stage 2 flash.

Final update today is the SPM downpipe install... Was amazing.. Fitment perfect. Not loud at all without the cat either. Seriously great product. Only downfall is that it did not come with the gasket or copper nuts. But still very happy with the product.

SPM has some nice stuff for the price!
I'm just tired of waiting for them to complete the catback for our cars... I am seriously contemplating driving to WV so they can demo my car for the initial model. I seriously can't believe no one has volunteered yet.

How do you like your HID's from USP so far? I just ordered mine this morning. Any issues or difficulties getting them installed?
Love them... 4300k is the way to go.

Just make sure you watch the install video for all the tricks. ;) Hardest part was stuffing the connectors through the metal clips.
