[VW enjoyer]

Hello all,
I am considering upgrading from my stock exhaust on my Jetta GLX 24v VR6, and I heard that the MagnaFlow Catback is good. A lot of the youtube videos are poor quality and generally, you cannot get a great idea of what it really sounds like. I have heard some complaints about 'droning' at higher RPMs or speeds, and I have also heard some people complain that it is actually too loud even with a resonator to hear music from the stereo properly. Can anybody who owns or has owned this exhaust system answer to these things?

i left the stock resonator in mine and put a magnaflow on. it sounds great! this video was with UM software and no cams. i need to redo with the cams in it sounds even gnarlier!

also, there is some drone at 2500 RPM, but at 3k on the highway it's pretty quiet. you won't be disappointed!

I have a Magnaflow catback Exhaust myself and it sounds terrific. Definitelly up there with AWE Tuning as one of the better sounding exhaust systems available for the VR6. I second what ducatipaso said, you won't be disappointed!
