This is corey, Ive dealt with alot of you with the previous 4 or 5 group buys. I just wanted to take a moment to thank all you guys for all the positive comments, and even the negative ones as the help us in the long run.
I wanted to get a poll going to see what you all think of the systems, +/- doesnt matter. Want to get some other stuff rolling here and could use this as a excellent starting place........
So post away, im leaving the poll open for answer's......
This can include other stuff such as 2.5" systems or different tip options
Just so its not off topic

I wanted to see what magnaflow owners thought of their systems and not what some other baffon decided to type...unless you were in fact a MF owner and hated it then its cool...

Oi man, with that kind of attitude, you will not get mature responses. You are working real hard on not getting any respect from people around here. You may have helped a few people out previously, but you are turning off other people from dealing with you; myself included.

Riiiight...

Anyway, I just got mine. It's pretty cool looking, but I am pissed off as all hell. I went to trey and get it installed by the Installer listed on the Magnaflow website. He gave me an estimate of $85 to install. I look at him and said, "You're nuts." I told him that when I got a whole system from them installed on my old GTI they had only charged $130. He then replied that it's a different story when you buy his parts. Then I pointed out that he is flagged as an installer for my system, he replies, "I don't know about anything like that. Money is the name of the game." F that. I guess I will just have to figure this out myself. That's some real bullsh't.

Hey, is there a website where I can check out and purchase a Magnaflow muffler only? I'd like to get one, but want to research a bit first. Are you a dealer for Magnaflow parts? Thanks.

I've had one on my car since october. I installed it myself, it has a great sound actually the best sounding exhaust IMHO. The only problem with the system is when you have an OBD2 car and the one exhaust hangar doesnt bolt up. But that was remedied by buying one aftermarket hangar and U bolting it to the exhaust. It really is a good system, i just hope i dont have to cut another inch or 2 off the cat when i slam this bad boy.

I bought my magnaflow from one of the vortex group buys...and so far I'm really happy with it...
I had a guy I know who works at an exaust shop install it for like $40 so welding that non-fitting hangar wasnt really a big deal.
I DO still have a heat sheild rattling somewhere...but the look, sound, and power gain of the system is worth it....one of these days I'll get around to fixing it.
Somtimes it can be a little loud, but its pretty quiet on the highway.
It's deffinately better than the "wheeze" of my old stock 2.0 system.

I LOVE mine, sounds great! I just have a little bit of rubbing when I have someone in the back seat, but I'll take it back to the shop that installed it and it shouldn't be too difficult to fix.

I like mine, the quality is great, but its a little too loud for me. I knew it would be loud, but I just don't think I want it anymore. I used to have a TT with borla, and that sucked, kidna raspy, just sounded horrible, so if you like the sound, magnaflow rules. the peice that goes over the pipe from the cat was not big enough so I had to get it installed, I guess that happens from time to time with this system. Ok, a follow-up: I had it installed at the Monroe in Schenectady cause the manager at the Albany place said they wouldn't put on someone else's parts. The guy who put mine on was real nice, got it on in about 40 min. He charged me $50 for it...nice after the last guy said he'd do it for $85. I'm happy with the sound...though it was pretty loud when I drove home, I hope it quiets down some.

it will, it just takes time for the rockwool to heat up and really expand, also that smell will go away

I also have the rubbing problem with someone in the back seat. I should get around to get a u-bolt for the misaligned hanger too. Any remedies for the rubbing?

Simply put, I love mine.
It went on in under an hour with ZERO problems. Below 3K RPM's it's nice and mellow, but when you put mash the gas there's a really crisp, sharp, throaty roar- definitely not ricey. There's hardly any drone on the highway, either, which was a big plus for me due to the amount of highway driving I do.
If you get it, you won't regret your decision.

I LOVE MINE. My only suggestion is make the kits a tad shorter so people don't have the rattling problem like I've been having...

the magnaflow is very simalar to the brospeed... i like the magnaflow.. but at my point, i dont have resonator or cat..so its cool. its a 2.25 but i wish i could get 3 inch for my future plans
